Learn moreDesigned by Phil Supple for Leonardslee Illuminated, this beautiful Christmas walk set in the grounds of Leonardslee Gardens in Sussex is a visual spectacular and a real feast for the eyes. Featuring a mile long trail set in several acres of the site, Show Binary planned, designed and installed the complex data systems required to connect over 500 lighting fixtures, an LED mapping system, show playback and provided a programmer to join it all together. The result is breathtaking.
With lighting designed by Frankie Boyle Studio for Scott's London, this Christmas scenic display for the 2021 season features 30 mapped LED elements attached to multiple scenic pieces. Show Binary planned the system layout, provided the LED control systems, playback device and programming services to ensure that this beautiful display works every night.
Show Binary were approached by Neon and Frankie Boyle Studio to design, manufacture and programme the lighting system for their beautiful sculpture "The Living Lantern". This kinetic / light installation has a dynamic, wind responsive outer membrane that opens and closes to filter the light from its core. It was recently displayed at CurioCity Brisbane.
The challenge was to create 51 individually mappable LED tubes, manufactured to withstand the elements alongside a pixel-mapping system and replay unit.
